Tuesday Happenings
It's 1:41 a.m. and NO post ??? gosh, where is everyone?
I woke up with my fingernail poking in the skin above my eye... good grief, now I have a big red spot there.. lol and the dream I was having way over the top even for a dream. sigh
I've been working in my sewing area trying to organize the stash of fabrics. Mom will be home on Friday and I need to uncover her bed (she's so picky about having her bed) lol I usually sew a nice gift for the granddaughters for christmas but this year I'm stumped on what to do. Last year were bathrobes, year before was jammie w/ matching pillow cases. How does one follow up? Did purses and book bags... am thinking of fleece scarves & matching gloves. Also, slippers but they have their favorite style already.
Weather has been rainy... imagine that for Seattle area.... lol I walked around the park yesterday anyway. I need to get my exercise routine going. If not walking then weights and strengthening. After seeing the misery my sister is going through I just can't sit back and let my health do as it pleases.
Saturday the sewing guild had a chapter annual meeting. It was held at nice restaurant and we had a great time. Our theme this year is: Aprons, let's tie one on. It was so neat to see the old vintage ones as well as the most decorated, most useless and then the child's aprons. ladies showed off their quilts and then we had a fashion parade. It is so amazing to me to see such beautiful work.
Well, I'm going to try to get more sleep...... ta ta
Millie
PS... no matter what you are doing.... have a fun day.

Easy night of work this evening. Spent a lot of time surfing to find more info for our trip to Branson. Made plans with Jan C. to meet up with her on Nov 29th, our first night in Branson. Hopefully go out to eat together.
Got tickets for another show last night. A magician, Kirby VanBirch.
32 days. We are so anxious. A week away from everything. Wow. I never have been one to take vacations, but you know, I am kinda enjoying it these days. I honestly don't think I would have enjoyed stuff like this with the kids. I am too selfish of my time with Mary. Don't like to share her much. LOL.
All our vacations in the military were taking the trips home from Europe. Didn't take many in Europe. A couple days here, a couple days there.
Well Millie, you go ahead and get your sleep. I will be getting mine in about 2 hours.
Time to go finish my Bible readings for today. Later.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good morning to you Millie and George and all who follow afterward. I hope that your day today is good and heck I hope mine is too. ha ha
Nothing much happening here today. Kayden will be coming in a couple of hours and then my day will really start. He keeps me going at times. I never seem to have the time to do what I would like to do...but such is the world of babies I guess. He is worth it though. Yesterday when I got him he seemed different personality wise. He seemed to be more reserved but I am beginning to think that is how the home life is affecting him. The longer he was here the more like the old Kayden he became. By the time DS came to get him he was normal. I am going to see what he is like this morning. DIL was suppose to get him yesterday at noon but DS called and told us that she was sent home from work with vomiting. She thought that she might get him today though. We will see...if she is sick I would rather her not be around him. He for sure doesn't need to get the flu...but are they smart enough to know that? Sometimes I wonder....
The weather is suppose to get to about 60 today. In fact it is going to be like that most all week. That will be nice...rainy at times but the temperature will be decent. It seems like rain is all we seem to get...just like most other places. I would rather have the rain than the snow that is for sure. They always say that for ea*****h of rain we would get 6 inches of snow. The other day we got over 2 inches of rain and so that would be way to much snow for me.
Misty is looking out the patio blinds and is making such a noise. She has those blinds really going. Now she is scratching on my chair and looking at me. One day my cousin was here and Misty was scratching the couch and Linda told me that she would tear it....I told her that Misty has no claws at all. I kind of took offense to her saying that like I didn't figure that one out...duh! I am not an idiot. But I am sure that she meant well. Misty seems intent of making as much noise as she can today so it is going to be interesting on how this day goes with her. She just has to make sure that she is known...like we don't know that she is already. But you kids...whether they have 2 feet or 4....they have to know that you know they are there. Like we can forget!
I guess I should get going. I have been rambling on enough this morning. I am sending love and hugs to to you all and prayers are being said for everyone too. Have a great day and don't forget to send a smile someones way.

well...i was sound asleep and happy to be there!
good morning millie and all! i survived another monday....
millie- um--aprons for the grands????? i forgot about your apron "do" but am thinking i might make some for my own grands who are learning to putter in the kitchen...guess i had better get self moving on this tho cuz Christmas is 60 days away!!!! and i will probly move in between then and now!
our owl is back!!!! at easter time i talked of an owl in our tree in the back yard---last nite, i happened to glance and barely detected him!! he is gorgeous!! a screech...he came out mopre to soak in the last of teh sun's warmth as he woke up....i took some pics but haven't put them on the comp yet so need to do that to blow them up more-
many mornings i talk to my mom by phone as i drive to work- yesterday i was shocked to learn that she had gone to ER nite before-throwing up blood--(there was a small flu bug at her house over the last few days) she is a wls person too- and so --she has "gastritis" --how lame of a dx! she's home and was trying to keep dry toast down last nite- and hydrating!
today, michael has follow up to his stent procedure..should be routine-hope hope...spoke to the scheduler at vascular surgeon's office- they aren't scheduling december yet so he is still on hold for aneurism....
so much in my head about moving- and it still isn't getting settled- we are taking a detour to hawaii via northern michigan for an undetermined amount of time- we will live in a two bedroom trailer(almost) rent free only paying for propane and electric...and i am wanting to get moved before bad weather cuz i know the roads up 131....michael is not ecstatic about this-and doesn't seem to realize it is actually a wonderful break for us financially--he sees it as never getting to hawaii--can't seem to wrap his head around all of the roadblocks due to his health--he will have to switch insurance and a bunchof other stuff-too much to explain this morning--but it's pretty much due to his health that i have to make this decision...and he feels trapped- i can't win--i'm going whether he does or not....
he keeps waivering about worker's comp- wanting to settle then wanting to get all the treatment he can and is not wanting to do any of this for the "right" reasons-his shoulder--it's revenge and dollars and i need closure..and he does-oh gosh does he ever....he needs to move on.
sorry to dump on all y'all....i need strength right now and i am praying for it.
so-work today, dr appt then i think some photos to sort thru before settling in on the couch!my daughter has volunteered to scan them all in if i get them to her this weekend at alaina's bday party.....when and if we get to hawaii will be better to have them digitalized than in print due to humidity....
hugs and prayers...........................

Margo if you move up near me I will be so happy!!!! Not doing much today. I am trying to learn to make dreamcatchers. My grandaughter still has nightmares from the cancer treatment. I gave her mine & she called to say it was full! I have been practicing. Morgan turns 7 on halloween & I thank God she made it!!!
It's raining here today too. The colors are almost gone so time to concentrate on the next holiday. Next week we are in Grand Rapids so my Daughter & Sil can go on a cruise. Eight days with the 3 girls & 4 dogs. Three of the dogs are ours, so I can't complain. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Just think of the rain as a head start on next summers crops!!!!
